Apply before 16 August: Do you have direct experience with social, affordable and sustainable housing financing?

The European Commission is setting up a working group to advance the development of financing solutions for social, affordable and sustainable housing. With a first meeting planned for early October 2026, the Commission has launched a call for expressions of interest, which is open until 16 August 2026. 

The initiative will bring together key stakeholders to exchange expertise and identify practical financing approaches for both housing renovation projects and new construction. 

Participation in the Working Group is open to organisations with direct experience in housing finance, including financial institutions, public authorities, project promoters and other relevant stakeholders. Experts will participate on behalf of their institution. 

The EU-level Working Group is established jointly under the Pan-European Investment Platform for affordable and sustainable housing and the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition.
